Stupit Amerikinz is a group of artists from all over the United States that are either living in Europe or have been in europe traveling and working.
Entirely recorded in Christiania..Myself and the other guys would always meet up at Don Marios house and record separate tracks for all of our projects. Mario and I got the idea to just make it a group since a friend of ours(RuneShow) would always jokingly call us Stupid Americans when he would see us all together. We took the name and ran with it.
We have recorded many songs with various artists that pass thru Copenhagen performing at the local venues. Artists such as Donald D (who lives in Italy), Yukmouth, Tha Jakka, J- Sands, Du it all (Lords of the Underground), Count Bass D, Jeru tha Damaja and many more have recorded for the "Wheres the McDonalds album.
The main players of the group are either living in Copenhagen or Malmö Sweden. J-Ro (L.A.), Maylay Sparks (Philly), Knoiota (Jersey), Maryland Kyle (Maryland) and producer Don Mario (Boston).
We are mainly talking about our experiences living overseas and traveling the world when our family and friends hardly leave the block or call going to Vegas or something traveling. We strongly support people having passports since everyone else in the world has one since childhood. Its like when you start reading a lot you realize how many things you did not know and how many things you have yet to learn. Its the same when you begin to travel. You realize how much you didnt know about this world and that whatever you saw on T.V. was only a very small part of the story. We basically realized that we were kind of stupid when it came to these things but learning them first hand is a great experience. I never thought in my life that I would be speaking Swedish, understanding some Danish and German and learning the customs and culture of all these different countries...
People who have never left the USA should go out and get a passport NOW and learn about this world. I have learned more in 7 years than I learned in my whole life and I want to share this experience thru music with everyone.
Stupit Amerikinz album "Wheres the McDonalds" will be coming soon and will share some of these experiences but "first hand" is the best experience you can get.
